Afrika Korps M-40 Single Decal German Army Helmet

For sale is a original M-40 Afrika Korps tropical tan painted helmet. Heer decal visible on the left side. Wear to paint, which is typical of a helmet which saw service in the desert, the blowing sand causes a sand blast effect which was hard on the paint. Untouched, liner is intact. Some barrel damage on the left side causing the rim to break off in a spot, with a light indentation on the exterior of the helmet from a projectile. Overall a great example of a fairly rare helmet.
