Showa Period (1944) Mfged Naval (SNLF) Officer Sword…

Original WWII Naval (SNLF) Officer Sword… has a Showa period machine made blade that is signed twice as pictured.  Being a Showa period blade it was made anywhere between 1926 – 1945 but this sword has a few characteristics that indicate at least some of it’s components were made between November 1943 and very early 1944.  Has an older re-wrapped handle and has the customary defects and blemishes one would expect from a combat sword used in the Pacific climate.
