WWII Japanese Type 38 & 99 Rubberized Canvas Ammo Pouch (3)

Early style sewn ammo pouch… it is in great condition, although stained… I was unable to open the top cover.  This pouch is cool because it has kanji on it (likely the soldier’s name).

As is always the case, the rubberized canvas is stiff and brittle and as such the top strap is very hard to unlatch and relatch.

I have two other pouches for sale but none of them are a match.
