German WWI Saxon Jäger Shako (FR108, JB12 or 13) “Eigentum”

Outstanding German WWI Saxon Jäger (Chasseur) Shako, Eigentum (private purchase) model from the pre-WWI / early Great War period.
This shako is consistent with examples worn by soldiers of the Füsilier-Regiment 108 and the Saxon Jäger-Bataillons 12 and 13, elite light infantry units of the Kingdom of Saxony.
Unlike standard depot-issued shakos, Eigentum examples were purchased individually by soldiers, often showing superior craftsmanship, fine leatherwork, and higher-quality interiors.
This shako retains a complete interior, a good original chinstrap with white non-magnetic metal (nickel silver) fittings.
The felt body shows light patina and minimal wear, with no deformation or restoration.
A 100% authentic, untouched example, perfectly representing Saxon private-purchase headgear from the Imperial German Army.
