WW2 German Army Heer Double Decal M35 Reissue ET64

Rare original M35 Double Decal reissue helmet, where textured gray paint was applied to the whole helmet and both decals reapplied over original (this is most apparent on the Heer eagle decal, see photos 15-19). The Heer eagle is in ~80% condition and the tricolor is near mint. Dark green paint can be seen on the shell where the gray paint is worn/scratched off. Not sure what created that odd wear pattern. Liner pins are fitted tightly, chinstrap has aluminum fittings. Approximately 1936 date of production based off lot number, “E.T.64” stamped in an early style with stylized font and dots after the letters. Size 57 liner, some damage and wear, sizing stamp still visible. All in all, great complete helmet with a killer look, and a rare reissue variant where both decals were kept in tact.
