For sale is a nice example of a original WW1 German M16 Helmet, size 62. Liner is intact, liner band is leather indicating a 1st pattern model of 1916. There is a name written but have not been able to completely make out, but with some effort you should be able to. After the war helmets were demilled by using picks to strike the home, this helmet is a textbook example of that, but that does not take away from it while displayed since was done on top.
