WW1 French M1915 Horizon Blue Overcoat Capote Original

For sale is a beautiful original WW1 French horizon blue overcoat “Capote” with nice liner still bearing ink stamps, shown in photos. Coat is in good condition with light soiling from regular wear. UCI markings indicate post war film use. Overall a fantastic enlisted overcoat. Tunics “Capotes” were the primary uniform of the French army, with short tunics “veruse” being worn underneath, or sometimes not at all if the weather was warm. One interior pocket is missing its bottom portion, but is not visible while displayed.
