For sale is an incredible WW2 German M41 Tropical Officers field cap for the Afrika Korps aka DAK. This incredible cap has the look, with fading, some loss of the wire, scuffs, scrapes, everything you’d want in a battle worn DAK cap. The Afrika Korps was extremely fragile due to the difficulty of resupply, often times using captured uniforms, vehicles, nearly everything including Rommel himself. So often in photos uniform items were worn until they literally fell apart, so salty DAK items are prized for an obvious reason. Size 58, insignia is its original.
